The Fashion Design Awards was first launched in 2002 and is the only design competition that offers entrants the opportunity to design reality fashion.
The Fashion Design Awards is one of Foschini's biggest social investment projects aiming to develop design talent at tertiary education levels. In the cut-throat design industry, Fashion Design Awards provides its finalists with a platform to get recognised, and an opportunity to get a taste of the world of reality fashion.
The Fashion Design Awards competition is only open to fashion students from recognised design schools, and is bigger and more exciting than ever before. This year, there will be competitions for first-year and final-year students, thus creating an opportunity for unleashing talent in different stages of the students' careers. With multiple challenges making up the competition, it promises to be both educational and challenging. The stakes are high, the prizes grand, and the experience will be unforgettable.
