The 6 finalists are given the opportunity to visit the Foschini Head Office for 1 week where they are exposed to the world of reality fashion.

First-year students with financial need
The winner of this competition received a R20 000 bursary towards the following year of studies. The winner will also be required to do their internship with Foschini.

Apart from the great prizes on offer, here are some outstanding reasons:
- The competition is tracked on You & Huisgenoot magazine pages. These magazines with a great circulation countrywide will make sure that everyone out there knows what you are capable of!

- The remaining 6 finalists of the Final-year student competition will get a chance to exhibit their creations in the Press Room at the Cape Town Fashion Week in August 2009!

- The winner of the Final-year student competition will stand a chance to show his/ her own collection at the Foschini/ Nokia New Generation Show 2010, which will be hosted by Cape Town Fashion Week.

- To have your creation worn by Miss South Africa, Tatum Keshwar.
