3rd Prize Winner: Tebaliso Semuli
1st Prize Winner: Yvette van den Berg
Yvette is in her third year at the London International School of Fashion (LISOF). Entering this year's Foschini awards was an opportunity for her to express her creativity as the brief was so challenging. She believes being a finalist provides a competitive advantage and opens many doors. Her dream is to start a label and make a name for herself in this notoriously tough industry.
2nd Prize Winner: Adrian Furstenburg
Adrian is completing his degree in B-Tech Textile Design and Technology at the Tshwane University of Technology. He sees himself working in a major fashion retail company gaining experience in fashion buying and design. His long-term plan is to establish his already registered label, ISH.
3rd Prize Winner: Tebaliso Semuli
A final year student at the University of Johannesburg (formerly Technikon Witwatersrand), Tebaliso wants to complete her studies then work as a trainee buyer. She entered the competition because of the internship opportunities given to finalists and believes it will be a good platform for her to make an impression and possibly land a job as a trainee buyer at Foschini.
